After being confronted by several individuals regarding my previous rant on the ENGR 200 sequence’s ubiquitous use of Microsoft Word (here), I would like to point out that the rant was directed at the distribution of documents in MS Word format. In other words, prepare the document in whatever software you choose, but distribute it in an open, portable, standardized format (PDF). Last time I checked, even MS Word can produce a PDF.
